  1. http://oregans.ca/french/Obituaries/65634/ This is a true story...... My cousin Donald Dube has had a deer farm for the past 8 years and was proud of this deer pen......... On october 9th, 2011, around 8:00pm, Donald went inside the pen to feed his deers.......for the last time....... His wife noticed he was not coming back inside the house so she called out his name with no answer......she called the RCMP for help....... they came and discovered his lifeless mutilated body in the field inside the pen....... The coroner in his report said the dominant male deer was in a rut and took his master as a treath to his kingdom of does and attacked him... Please be carefull this hunting season and bring back a trophy for Donald...... post a photo of it here if you like thanks Woodman
  2. Hi all, For what's it is worth..... :notangel: It is important to live life by the minute, not by the day or year....... as you only own this instant.... you can learn from your past ....and plan for the future, but you may not get there.... ....So live life as if it is to end soon, and make every effort to be pleasing and be gratefull for what you have now... you will not be able to take these things with you when you reach the far-side...... .......you are loosing time already reading this ......... go and make someone happy........ just go ..........

Hi all, I am surprised that this thread has not gone into more detail on products to use.... 8| I have used 'Deep wood' (mosquito repellant,,,,,, and I have uses 'Skin So Soft' (Avon Product), a moisturizer  ..... both work equally well at keeping the buggers at bay......... while bushwacking and geocaching .....and I have slept outdoors under open sky without suffering from insect bites..... Has any of you experienced other stuff.... happy070.gif Woodman

  6. Man Tracker

It is all in the planning.... GOOOOOD......Luck !!
  7. Man Tracker

I watched at least 20 different shows.... Mantracker wins 90% of the time..... he is an expert tracker and no one can float forever from one tree to the next...or go in deep bush without finding a high point to take a new compass bering... you can wade a stream...but it rarely goes where you want to go... oops.gif Some prey have tried distractions, booby traps, horse scares..... most who won were real smart and moved in low lying areas or on top of rough terrain where Mantracker could not follow...and had to guess the prey's next move.... Some doubled back for miles ...made odd detours and even took off in the opposite direction on purpose...just to place odds in their favor...... and lost...and were twice as tired... Remember...Mantracker has no compass...no map...but he does have a local guide with him. The moment the flare rises... the prey is off....and Mantracker starts his search at the proximity of the flare site... hoping to pick up fresh tracks..... and heading... It is fun to watch.... but video replays kill me......there are too many reruns of what has just been happening to the prey or mantracker in the last 15 minutes... Hope you get to try the game..... I wish you all the luck I can
  8. In the years to come....with global warming and the melting of the ice caps in Greenland and the north pole region, we will be faced with weather pather changes, increasing ocean height, more rain and with the overflow of rivers, lakes and streams. This is currently happening and will get worst. What can you do to help yourself if you are in low and potentially flooding areas.... YOU have to move...... and the faster the better. scared011.gif You will not win against nature without proper knowledge and awareness... cool14.gif I'll post some proof photos of our area.... 8| asap Woodsman
  9. Favorite Quotes That Impact Your Life...

cool14.gif this statement is very strong... ....Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day ....Show a man "How To' fish, and he will feed himself and others forever.... strong....you bet !! 8| no...I did not invent this ... I saw it somewhere... long ago... Have a pleasent day showing and sharing with others what you know ! Woodman

  11. Heard any good ones lately

Here is one.... Choosing a wife A man wanted to get married.. He was having trouble choosing among three likely candidates. He gives each woman a present of $5,000 and watches to see what they do with the money. The first does a total make over.. She goes to a fancy beauty salon gets her hair done, new make up and buys several new outfits and dresses up very nicely for the man. She tells him that she has done this to be more attractive for him because she loves him so much. The man was impressed. The second goes shopping to buy the man gifts. She gets him a new set of golf clubs, some new gizmos for his computer, and some expensive clothes. As she presents these gifts, she tells him that she has spent all the money on him because she loves him so much. Again, the man is impressed. The third invests the money in the stock market. She earns several times the $5,000. She gives him back his $5,000 and reinvests the remainder in a joint account. She tells him that she wants to save for their future because she loves him so much. Obviously, the man was impressed. The man thought for a long time about what each woman had done with the money he'd given her. Then, he married the one with the biggest boobs. Men are like that, you know. If you don't send this to five OLD friends right away… there will be five fewer people laughing in the world.
