  1. I think it is one of those investments you make kind of like insurance. Until you need it that is when you wish you had it or thankful that you do have it. I don't buy any vehicles unless it comes with 4 wheel drive and fortunately I have never experienced any issues with the vehcile's 4 wheel drive system. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk

What's that old saying??? I would rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6..... Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk

Never been in a situation where I had to use a firearm to protect myself and if I ever do I will go with the premise I used a firearm because I was scared and felt my and my family's life was in danger. If the predator who attacked me survives or doesn't.....doesn't matter as long as my family and myself survived the scenario Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk

I would say all the research in the world doesn't mean nothing...some folks are just lucky. I say carry the caliber and weapon you can fire the best in accuracy and comfort. This will go a lot further than historical events and research Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk

  8. Campfire Talk

Had fun yesterday while it was snowing…a good time to get some range time in with my daughter By daughter shooting my 223. Her favorite weapon to shoot My M&P 9C – she does not like shooting the revolvers or any of my larger guns, but does not mind the 9MM Yeah I know I am working on her position and grip technique, but for now basic operation and safety is what I am focusing on. Position to me, will dictate as the situation dictates so I am not that big on position.

I have a compact 9mm and 40 cal both M&P I switched from glock to the M&P and love it. For cc I still grab my j frame and stick in my pocket with a 5 round speed clip in my other pocket. So far that is the best carry format that fits me. My 38 goes where I go. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
  10. TSA

I got pat down twice this year and still went through the machines but that is because I flew into canada I guess...I am more ok with that than I am with the TSAs attitude Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
  11. Paracord bracelet?

It's a bushie. I almost went with the sig556 but this came with a 2 stage trigger, quad rail, and a pistolgrip with surefier light holder also an upgraded butt stock and 200 less than the sig. if they had a RRA there I would have went with it. IMO I think Rock River is one of the best made ARs in the market Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
  12. Paracord bracelet?

I made some key fobs for 2 of my rifles. My 223 and 22. I personalized them so I add some of my own personalization
  13. hiking without supplies

All I go is ultra light. Everything in my pack is individually weighed to ensure I stay around 20lbs. For me lighter is better as I can go further and move faster but if I need to pack a little bulk for creature comfort items I will though. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
  14. Urban Woman's Bug Out Bag

What scares me most about a large scaled disaster is the actions of the unprepared. If you are able to bring awareness to individuals then you are a blessing...from what I gathered so far on this forum, you definitley have the ability to make this happen! Follow your passion and calling!!! Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
  15. Urban Woman's Bug Out Bag

This is awesome!! You inspired me to get off my rear and be more prepared than I currently am. Also when I think of urban I think of all sorts of disasters and what would prevent me from bugging and one thing in a disaster I notice is there are also folks bleeding from debris, explosions and etc...one thing that is lite and may benefit or compliment an urban bob is a bag of celox coagulant to stop major bleeding.
