An AWSOME company! And the only place for gear

Recommended Posts

Well you have all heard me go on and on about www.uscav.com and how much I love their gear and service. Well Ive just been shown that the service is not just good, but exceptional.

I was in the process of trying to get Les and SP8 Machette (Have I ever mentioned that before  ) for him to use in the last episode of this season...........well unfortunately it is considered a controled item and cannot be shipped to Canada, so the only way I could have done it would have been to have shipped it here then sent it up to Les.

Well there just wasnt enough time for that............

So I gave USCAV a call and told them the problem.

Well to make a long story short, Les will have the machette on Friday.............and free of charge (Nice to be a celeb huh  ::) LOL) So I would like to thank John Straub and Bobby Nakanelua for helping me get this done.

And Swede, you can yell at me for the endorsement.........but I just had to get that out there.............AWSOME COMPANY!

Hey Woods,

As we spoke of it recently.... I found a Canadian supplier of the Ontario SP8 Machete... not to take away from US Cav... but some of the Canuks may want info on obtaining one of your "All Powerful SP8's"... does it have it's own pillow and toothbrush at your house... he, he.

Yeah, but if you ship the SP8 to CA, the agent charges and taxes make it more costly then $50. Plus that is $110 canadian, not REAL money! :D

Yeah yeah... you cannucks have started to get an inflated self of yourselves... :D

Still, if you ship UPS or FedEX, you can expect to pay a pretty big "agent fee" getting it up there to the great white north. Not to mention customs.

Woods is right of course, USCAV has some great customer service.

Well if the provide such good service they should be willing to ship it as a gift then you can get away with out paying duty xD

Also the knife costs $92 + 7% GST + $10 shipping  eh $110 shipped in the end unless you live in sk the +pst

I ordered some tinder tins that came to $48.27 the shipping was $16.65 and the brokerage fees, duty and GST came out to $38.95... for a grand total of $103.87.... If i would have shipped to a US location and smuggled them across I would only have paid $48.27 + $9.95shp.... BIG DIFFERENCE!

US CAV is most likely aware of this and doesn't want the illusion of inflated prices.... don't blame them.

Rick just give me a call anytime you buy stuff on this side of the border. You can ship it to me and I will bring it over.
