Prohibited Equipment

 

1. Reading Material (Exceptions: religious materials such as a Bible,Koran, etc. or reading

materials directly related to SERE, such as Five Years to Freedom,or Bravo Two Zero.)

Audio/Visual  (i.e. radios, cameras, CD players, walkmans, camcorders,etc.)

Contact Lenses

 

2. If you have any questions about the required clothing or equipmentresolve them before you depart your unit.

4. This Clothing and Equipment List supersedes all previous U.S.Army SERE (Level C) Course Clothing and Equipment List.

 

Note 1. Bring only enough cash to pay for 23 meals at the DiningFacility.  PX can cash checks for $20.

 

Note 2. No machetes or other knifes with a blade over 12 inchesallowed. K-bar, Survival Knifes, Swiss Army Knifes, Gerber tools, etc.are allowed.

 

Note 3. A small Post Exchange Annex may be available during portionsof the SERE Course. Normal hours of operation are Mon, Wed, Fri, 1200-1600hrs.

BDU= battle dress uniform (camo)

Quarter=fishing jig,siginals,usefull item.

Sleeping bag is winter only? Looks very similar to what you need for a course in the CF, except you have to bring your own PT gear and a few things they were to cheap to give us.
