Recommended Posts

I gotta have decent cooking equipment. Even if I'm bush camping, I will contimplate bringing a cast iron skillet.

Just a good book to read is all I usually take. And I have my MP3 player with me at times. But at night I like to just stargaze

Thats a great idea. I would like to try and make the seat part by weaving some kind of cordage, eithier natural or man made.

Shrek, That sounds like a interesting idea also. Or you could sew yourself a piece of nylon together to use. This way it would take up little space in you kit. And wouldn't weigh hardly anything.

True. It wouldn't take up much space at all. It would also be alot quicker to assemble.

Yes it would. Plus you can always modify the fabric to do other things besides just being a seat.

But it definitely is a cool idea

I liked the chair video and the group who made the video. Good survivors indeed.   You could probably sleep in that thing if you wanted to. I have no idea what a "coffee sack" is. What else would work?

Coffee sack is what the beans come in. You could just sew a piece of nylon together to make the chair. And it will weigh next to nothing in your pack or kit.

Well....my idea of a coffee sack is like a burlap orother material that makes into 50lb and 100lb sacks...
