A small game trap

Recommended Posts

This is actually a big game preasure plate trap that I have scaled down.....The pics and trap are rough but were made for visibility...ease of pic taking.....usually they would be much more precise etc.... so dont whine if I used too much rope etc....

No instructions are included though as this could REALLY hurt someone...

AH I see the trigger now. Are you tieing the bait on the trigger stick under the spikes?

no you would just put it in the middle of the game trail....you could just place bait on either side of the platform though....

I would have to go after quail (partridges), turkey, or wood hens down here..., haven't seen any pheasant in these parts, and very few grouse in the last few years

We have tons of Turkeys here, they have really started coming back in the last 10-15 years.  Now there are barely any pheasants. I've only seen 2 so far this year.  A lot of my buddies hunt and haven't seen any either.
