FatMax Jabsaw - a very good woods saw

Recommended Posts

I normally carry a Sandvik folding saw for my fatwood hunting trips, but I'm honestly getting tired of the blades jamming and bending. Today i was rummaging thru my tool box and i found my Stanley Fatmax Jabsaw and lightbulb went off in my head......the Fatmax jabsaw  would be perfect for a woods saw - really tough blade, very little flex, one piece construction. extremely aggressive double cut teeth and the point can be used for drilling.

I'll get real pics later on when i can use the GF's camera, but here is the link

Does it come with some sort of sheath or cover?  It looks like it would do a great job of ripping through wood, and the blade reminds me a lot of the way the teeth are on the Leatherman saw blade.

nope (sheath) but a simple piece of garden hose works GREAT (and the hose can be used for a part of a fire bellows if need be)
