Muddy Pete learns to cook. Mad skillz

Recommended Posts

Were really getting some free medical advice from our new nurse now.  :peace:

We saved her from Atkins again tonight by baking buttermilk biscuits and pouring that strawberry topping from last night on them. It makes buttermilk strawberry shortcake biscuits. We had bacon too.

Well done, Muddy.

It's just something to keep in mind.  It comes from not having any glucose for your body to use, so then you go to using Fatty Acids and Amino Acids.  When they get broken down, they lower your blood pH.  As long as she isn't diabetic, it shouldn't be too big of a deal.  The signs of it are nail polish remover smelling breath, and you can faint from it.  People who fast or are anorexic also can suffer from it.

Tangerine chicken.

I finally figured how to use the sharpened top side on the Cuma. It’s works like an Ulu blade.

The Acme didn’t have tangerines. Or red peppers so I used a Poblano chili pepper and a red bell pepper for color.

I let it marinate for a few hours.

I was disappointed that the oil in pan didn’t ignite.

Tangerine chicken. I found a new recipe which I really like.

I need to spend the .99 on a juicer. In the meantime I used a rock off the sidewalk.

All ready to cook.

Less heat, more flavor.

Nice rock. Do you always cut oranges and tangerines from end to end instead of side to side?

I never gave any thought to the subject.

South Jersey Pineapple Death Squad. Represent.

p5290031b.jpg

Mango pudding. I was watching Apocalypse Now the night before and Chef kept going on about mangos the whole ride up the river.

p5290034.jpg

Mango pineapple salsa. A little jalapeno juice in a paper cut on my finger.

p5290035k.jpg

Since I had a surplus of pineapple I made a pineapple upside cake to go with the pudding.

Mango garnish

Buy any?  How much was it?  Local?

No, I wanted to Google it first.

Around $3.50 for a 1/2 gallon

I not sure if there are any dairy farms in the area.

They're peanutbutter cookies rolled in sprinkles. I had to use red because the ACME did'nt have orange. I also used a banana peanutbutter instead of plain old skippy. I'm saved a few for Space Ace tomorrow. Maybe.
