Muddy Pete learns to cook. Mad skillz

Recommended Posts

I squeezed out a few Tic Tacs myself last night.

I ordered my brothers X-mas presents on the 14th from Amazon. The CC number they had on file was no longer valid. I saw an auto response come through and didn't bother to read it. It was the one that said we have canceled your order.  :o I caught this around 9PM last night and reordered for a 24 hour shipping. His stuff should be here on Monday.

I'm glad I don't have children.

i almost got one when they first came out (plain edge)  just curious what you think of it.

It's a good knife. Plain edge would be better. Too many serrations.

i think the only reason i didnt get it was that it didnt have much belly to it for skinning out deer.  i did like the handle though and i like buck products warrenty. ive sent a couple back and got great customer service and new knives.

Dutch oven buttermilk biscuits. Is there a trick to keep them from burning on the bottom?

I actually prefer cowboy coffee over using a coffee maker. I just toss the grounds out the window when I’m done.

Someday, I must buy a can opener.

Time to get rid of the iced tea? OR stock pile penicillin.

I lined the bottom of the Dutch oven with tinfoil balls and placed the biscuits in a pie tin. They didn’t burn on the bottom but they still don’t taste exact.

I added a can of Mandarin oranges in with the peppers. It has a nice zing to it.

I baked an apple pie using a pat-a-pie recipe for the dough. The TOPS knife made a mess of my apples and my cutting board.

Homemade cornbread with thick smoked bacon cooked inside. I used the cast iron skillet to cook the bacon earlier this morning. I just poured the cornbread mix right into the bacon grease.
