Muddy Pete's day off (Wild hearted son)

Recommended Posts

I love rainy days in the woods Muddy and you captured the magic perfectly. Not crowded a bit I see. If you were to run into some one you would feel obligated to ask why are you out here in the rain?  You just tell her that when it gets to nasty for every one else its just right for me. Ask her if she would like to play with your sparrow hawk.  :naughty:

I see the locals like to drive their four wheel drives right through the pond.  :nono: Great day to be alive and a great place to be at the right moment in time. Thanks for sharing.  :arigato:

The railroad up past Woodbine headed towards Tuckahoe. I did this trip on foot last Apri 'cept it took all day instead 4 hours.

I've watched too much Walking Dead. This place was empty and just a bit creepy. Lunch. I was all excited to find Wawa now carried Chunky bars. It turns out Chunky never went away.

~ Great Pics Muddy!  Those pathways where the power lines cut through the woods are where I always see deer (at twilight). Looks like a great fun place to explore!

Thanks Taken. The bike is definitely going to double the range I can cover in a day.

Yesterday it was 72 degress and sunny. Today it went back down to the low 60's and windy. Somebody forgot to tell the flowers.

They must have missed a memo.  I hate when that happens.

Belleplain State Forest just outside of Woodbine, NJ. Tuesday night. Ten minutes before I was supposed to leave the office I got a call from a customer which turned into a 30 minute conversation then I had to go the grocery store, then I had to run home and when I got to the campsite someone had forgot to unlock my yurt, knowing I was coming after the Park office closed. Lucky for the I, the same dipstick also forgot to lock one of the other yurts. I claim this yurt one in the name of Muddonia.

Never watch the Walking Dead when you're going to be camping alone. Never, never, never.

Wednesday AM.

After a trip to the rangers office to check in, and gripe and hit on the cute park ranger. Hey there wanna come back to my yurt? I've got cookies.  :ack:

Back in camp. I couldn't figure out what the hook thing was for. I hung my lantern on it when I was unpacking. Then I hung my trash bag on it to keep the critters out.

Last night I couldn't find my flashlights, so I unpacked and made a fire using the highbeams, then my lantern which ran out of fuel  then I got the fire going using the light on my keychain. And to check for the walkers.

Some call it bugout preps, I call it stuff I left in the trunk since the last trip. Muddonian yurt sausage for breakfast. I don't thing hottie park ranger lady is coming by. I forgot my precooked bacon. Or, I didn't and been it's sitting in the back seat since Tuesday evening with the windows rolled up. I'll know soon enough.
