Muddy Pete's day off (Church of the good big woods)

Recommended Posts

The power company has been out clearing the lines all morning. Lots of good resinous wood if I had a way to get it home.

I found an empty beer bottle to use as a stand for my new bird feeder

I stuffed the cones with suet mixed with seed.

you should have dressed it out with your knife. people hide all kinds of stuff in teddy bears.

That might explain what was doing on the side of a dirt road. Best to leave it where it was.

Could have sacrificed the bear. Or hung it up like Blair Witch

I keep expecting to look out the window and find it eating little birds off the feeder. It will be a Walking Dead/ Boo-Boo bear.

Yooooooogieeeeeeeee. The rangerssss not going tooo like that.

TOPS Conder Alert. Weighs as much a boat anchor and sweet Christmas if you should drop it on your foot. BUT!! when you have to kill zombies, terrorists or an undead Boo-Boo bear, accept no substitutes.

Made in the USA

Aqua Pouch ‘cause I’m not paying $5.00 for a soda at the movies.

Last night Space Ace and I made a baking soda volcano from a kit.

It came in a kit with paint and directions and everything. That didn’t last five minutes.

You put the baking soda in one chamber, vinegar in the larger chamber and then squeeze the bottle which shoots the vinegar into the chamber with the baking soda. That chamber has a spout and the whole contraption shoots up through holes in the plastic volcanoes. There were some other instructions but we didn’t read them.

Lovely day to be outside. Today does not feel at all like mid January.

This little creek comes out of  a much larger pond further back in the woods. During the rainy season, it’s a steady stream.
