We LOVE pictures around here, post away!!!!    I didn't get to visit Ireland  but when I was stationed in Germany, I dated a girl from Ireland and she had photo books full of the land.  It is a beautiful place I hope to visit some day.

Thanks for sharing!

Seeing as the photo's have gotten a very warm welcome I'll keep posting!

Here's a part of the Skyline of the "city" I live in, I use city lightly as a small U.S. or Canadian city would dwarf an Irish one.

Limerick has a population of about 100k including the suburbs and is Irelands 3rd largest city.

Any questions about Limerick or Ireland I'll be happy to help!

I saw you lived on the coast. Is that the Irish Sea?

What you see in the latest picture is the estuary of the Shannon river, the longest river in the U.K. and Ireland, which enters the Atlantic ocean. Throw these co-ords (52.658893,-8.655281) into Google maps or Google earth and this is where the photo was taken from.

If I seem like I'm talking too much, wait til you meet me with a few pints in me!

The Irish sea is on the eastern coast of Ireland between the two islands.

The Atlantic coast is far more scenic and is a huge tourist attraction because of that.

Great photos, thanks for sharing them with us!

Thanks KB

~ I love that very top picture. The camping one.

A quick photo from one of the last days I was out patrolling in the forest park in which I volunteer. A showery day but got to see a nice rainbow!

Curraghchase carpark. by Heygalicious, on Flickr

This is the car park (parking lot) for the forest park I volunteer at and this was last Sunday. Temperatures were about 23-24 Celsius (low 70s Fahrenheit) which is warm for us and it was the last day of sunshine for the last week.

And it was warm enough that we needed to cool down in the shade  for awhile, we're not prepared for any kind of weather this side of the water!

Was camping the week before last and my camera batteries died, and I couldn't find the spares I brought until I got home, so I took what photo's I could and I used my cell phone for some at the campfire too.
