I think farmageddon 2014 should be at that huge place..... very awesome cabin my friend reminds me of some of the cabins I seen on table rock lake

It is like glamping for sure.  I was fortunate on the price because of the remoteness of the place. There isn't too many people that want to be this far away from a store. That was the beauty for me.

 

I am hoping to find someone to share it with at some point. It is on my to do list. I narrowed down the choices I fear.... lol.

 

These stairs I fell in love with.

It really is. Definitely a good spot for self reliance. I have a flock of 9 turkeys that visit every morning.  One of them is named "Dinner" as soon as season comes around again... :hugegrin:

Do you have any problems with the stairs coming lose and being very wobbly?

 

I did. Especially after running the wood stove and the humidly level dropped in the cabin. I have been putting shims under them. It is helping. I am going to have to come up with a better solution though.

Internet speeds are real good. I have Hugesnet gen 4. Unfortunately not good enough for VOIP but watching videos and surfing are no problem. The biggest thing I do not like is a limited amount of data in a month 10 gig burns up fast watching videos.
